Web Site Security and Privacy

The Alameda County Congestion Management Agency is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to www.accma.ca.gov. We utilize safeguards designed to protect the privacy of all personal information. We do not use your information in any manner not previously disclosed in our privacy statement. The following statements govern the privacy practices of www.accma.ca.gov.

General Information Collection and Use

Anyone can visit Alameda County Congestion Management Agency's site without disclosing any personal information about themselves. We may track the Internet addresses of the individuals who visit our site to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement and gather broad demographic information, but this data is not linked to personally identifiable information. The information we collect creates a broad picture of our population and is used to continually refine our Web site, identify the most popular areas of our site and improve our services.

Mailing Lists and Company Registration

The Alameda County Congestion Management Agency collects basic contact information (such as name, address, phone number and email address) when you register yourself and/or your company on our site to receive additional communications from us. Upon registration, you must specify a user name and password that enables you to access a restricted area of our Web site, where the information you have or will submit is stored. Your personal or company information is only used internally. We do not share your information with any third party. You may choose to discontinue receipt of these communications at any time by following the instructions, included at the bottom of all such distributions, for removing your personal information from our registry.

Password and User Name

You must enter your user name and password every time you access a restricted area of the Web site. Your password and user name serve as your personal key to the restricted areas. The system is designed so that without this information, no other site visitor can access your information. Lost passwords may be retrieved automatically by selecting the "Reset Password" button from our Login page. You can change your password at any time by logging in and editing your personal information.

Changing Your Personal or Company Information

We will provide you with the means to update or change your personal or company information.
